Armstrong Gibbs was a prolific English composer whose reputation continues to solidify with new recordings and performances of his music. A composer, adjudicator and conductor who studied under Sir Adrian Boult and Ralph Vaughan Williams, Gibbs was a contemporary of Sir Arthur Bliss, Herbert Howells and Sir Arnold Bax.
