Okhtyrka-born Artem has been a devoted fan of the Eurovision Song Contest since he saw it for the first time in 2019.
He first attempted to represent Ukraine at Junior Eurovision in 2023, making it to the longlist of potential artists, and despite his disappointment on not being chosen, he was determined to come back and win the national selection.
