Artist Info: Beatglider

Beatglider are a rock band formed in Southend-on-Sea, UK sometime in 1995 influenced equally by the classic late 80's/early 90's UK shoegaze scene and eclectic American guitar bands with Ride, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, Pavement and The Flaming Lips taking most of the blame.

It was while supporting the Leicester-based band Prolapse at the Chelmsford Y club when a man named Turk approached the band enthusiastically with great plans to release a record. [read more...]
