Artist Info: Behna Ensemble

The Behna Ensemble was born in 2006 to a family of like-minded friends. Its father is none other than Ramin Behna, who is a prolific contemporary Iranian composer. A graduate of Music from Azad University, he formed the four-member Avizheh Ensemble in 1997. Avizheh produced two landmark fusion albums, Nokhostin ("Premier") and Avizheh, which attracted the attention of listeners and critics alike with "almost fresh new approaches to Iranian Music."
