Dave first recorded for Tony McPhee on his groundhog series recordings in 1968 on the album Me and the Devil. Tony featured Dave’s sister Jo-Ann Kelly and gave a track for Dave to sing and play on.
At this time Tony McPhee disbanded the groundhogs and with Dave Kelly and his sister Jo-Ann moved over to the John Dummer Blues Band where he recorded two albums 1968 Cabal and 1969 John Dummers Band. [read more...]
