Flame Retardant is a Dutch funk-metal/trashfunk band formed in Haarlem in early 2010. It consists of the members Toyvo Nachesa (bass, vocals), Sytze Zeylmaker (guitar, backing vocals), and Tobio Aarts (drums, backing vocals). The band is known for it's unusual music style, influenced by artists like Primus, Infectious Grooves and Mr. Bungle, creating a style that contains both funky grooves and heavy metal riffs, with a bit of their own unique craziness.
