Freschta Akbarzada is an Afghani born singer living in Switzerland. She started her career on The Voice Of Switzerland in 2014. In 2015 she submitted 2 songs to Eurovision for Switzerland: ''The Waiting Game'', and ''The World At Your Feet'' - a duet with Stefania Pagano. Neither songs made it to the televised national final.

In December 2016 she was announced as one of 6 finalists for the Swiss national final for Eurovision 2017 with the song ''Gold''. [read more...]
