Hakanai is the name of at least two artists: 

1. Hakanai is a Boston-based band formed in 2013 by Matt Scherbatsky. 

They released their first effort in the form of a 4-track split with Last Letters in February of 2017, to which they contributed two tracks, Fields and Fawns and The Oxygen Pour.

Hakanai's music is a blend of math rock and post-rock, with some songs featuring orchestral, chamber, and acoustic elements.
