Artist Info: Hannah Rand

Hannah Rand was born in Chicago in the mid-90's. She has been writing songs since she was young and over the years has developed a unique sound. In 2013, Hannah won a trip to the Grammy Awards after competing in a songwriting competition hosted by the Grammy Foundation for her song "Starting Over". On her first self titled EP, Hannah explores race relations, separation and the loss of loved ones in war. Her first full-length project, Standing on Shoulders, was her senior thesis project for Belmont University where she majored in Songwriting. [read more...]
