Guitarist John F Moon born in Hollywood California is the son of Trombone player Joseph Mooney . At the age of 5 or 6 he was given piano lessons by his Grandmother and pushed to play the trumpet by his father. He was given a set of drums for Christmas around 7 years of age but had no interest. His Grandmother persisted with his piano lessons although John not an average 11 year old just wanted to go to rock concerts and party with his older brother and his friends. [read more...]
