Jarad Anthony Higgins (December 2, 1998 – December 8, 2019), known professionally as Juice WRLD, was an American rapper, singer, and songwriter. He emerged as a prominent figure in emo rap and SoundCloud rap during the mid-to-late 2010s. His stage name, derived from the 1992 crime thriller film "Juice," was intended to represent "taking over the world."
