Artist Info: Kinsfolk

Slovak folk rock duo Kinsfolk started in 2014 as a side project of two cousins Dominik Demcak and Peter Cinkanic. But as soon as the two started composing and rehearsing new songs, they felt something special. Fueled by mutual chemistry, it became clear right away that Kinsfolk will be something consuming all of the energy of the duo. Their sound might be described as folkish rock, tinted with a modern-pop zest.

Both Cinkanic and Demcak are inspired by such Gods as Johnny Cash, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty or Bruce Springsteen. [read more...]
