Mahan was on of the contestants in the persian music contest Googoosh Music Academy 2011.

Mahan was one of the favorites of 10, because of her persian/swedish/western style, that made her different from the other contestants and because she radiated positive energy :)

Mahan came 3rd and as people say: Mahan made a musical change in the persian music.
