Marc Neikrug (* September 24 1946 in New York City ) is an American composer and pianist.

The son of the cellist and music educator George Neikrug studied in Los Angeles piano and music theory, and from 1964 to 1968 at the Academy of Music in Detmold composition with Gislher adhesive . In Tanglewood he took courses with Gunther Schuller and 1972 he was composer in residence at the Marlboro Music School and Festival under the direction of Rudolf Serkin .
