Matt Wand from Salford, UK, became known to a wider public especially with Stock, Hausen & Walkman, frequent collaboration with Tony Oxley (documented on Incus, The Tony Oxler Quartet, The Tony Oxler Orchestra on Soul Note). Had recently been commissioned by WDR sound collages extracted from WDR recordings of contemporary classical works (Schnitt-Haubenstock, composition & live performance).
