Artist Info: Michael Lytle

Michael Lytle was born in 1945 at Wright Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, but raised in Springfield, Missouri. His mother loved classical music and opera and was an ok singer, his uncle a tenor and leader of church choirs. He started piano and 5 yrs. old and apparently progressed quickly, then began clarinet at 14. He studied clarinet and composition at the University of Wichita followed by masters studies in composition and electric music, graduating in 1968. [read more...]
