Artist Info: Monster Machismo

Three guys from Oneonta, New York that make wonderful math pop sounds.

It is apparent that they have separated due to school, but singer and guitarist Dan Drake has started a project under the name The Dan Drake Ensemble. Their drummer, Sam Judd went on to perform vocals and occasionally drums and guitar in the band Cattle Drums.

Monster Machismo is a three piece powerhouse, they play a blend of math pop mixed with complex syncopation. The songs "Time Portal Fiasco" and "Me Blindfolded vs. Mike Tyson", are the epitome of their music. [read more...]
