Myuk is a Japanese singer-songwriter. She was born on 4 February 2001 in Yatsushiro, Kumamoto Prefecture. She formerly went by her real name Miyu Kumagawa (熊川みゆ) during her earlier stage of her singing career, before re-debuted with her new solo project Myuk in 2021.

On her website, her current stage name is derived from Swedish 'Mjuk' and her real name (Miyu Kumagawa).
