Pierre Menu (1896-1919) was a French composer of the Belle Epoque era. He was a friend of Arthur Honegger, and was mentioned by Albert Roussel as a possible member of Les Six.
Given his premature death at the age of 23 years, little is known about Menu. In the five years from 1914 to 1919, he wrote a series of works that emphasize his originality, his technique, and his use of rhythmical force and rich harmony.
