Sabrina Setlur (born January 10, 1974, in Frankfurt am Main), is a German rapper and actress. She has sold over two million records and is recognized as the first female rapper to achieve a number-one single in the German charts.

Setlur was born to Indian immigrant parents and spent much of her childhood in Bad Soden am Taunus and Schwalbach am Taunus. While attending the Liebigschule in Frankfurt, she met Thomas Hofmann, later co-founder of the label Pelham Power Productions (3P), who encouraged her in 1993 to perform rap. [read more...]
