Ahmed El Sourani, who goes by Sourani as his artist name, is a Palestinian-Iraqi artist born and raised in Cairo, Egypt.
Sourani spent many years uploading covers of notable songs online that gained some attention, this later led him to
in September 2023 release his debut single "Matar" in collaboration with the Egyptian producer Hatem El Chiati.
