Artist Info: Spacemonkey

sPacemoNkey is a Norwegian duo consisting of pianist Morten Qvenild and drummer Gard Nilssen. They met when they where playing in trumpet player Mathias Eicks band, and they soon decided that they had to try out the duo format.

Morten Qvenild has since around year 2000 been one of the most creative, path-breaking and exploring musicians in Norway. He is known from bands like In The Country, Shining, Jaga Jazzist, Trinity and Susanna & the magical orchestra. [read more...]
