Artist Info: Waterflower

Born in 1990, Sabīne Indriksone-Moore, known professionally as Waterflower, is a pioneering Latvian multimedia artist and eco-futurist musician. Emerging from the Rīga underground scene in 2006 under the name Kroffork, she was one of the first female solo electronic acts in Latvia to gain a following.

She creates immersive avant-pop and digital hardcore that addresses the global ecological crisis. A signature of her live performances is the use of living plants and fungi as instruments. [read more...]
