1. Wies, stylized as WIES, is a Dutch indie pop band from Amsterdam, fronted by Jeanne Rouwendaal. WIES makes indie pop / rock songs sung in Dutch, with use of electronics and beats. They won the 'Grote Prijs van Amsterdam' band battle in 2018, the nationwide 'Grote Prijs van Nederland' in 2019 and started releasing a steady stream of singles in late 2019.
