Artist Info: Yuvigi

The rock band Yuvigi was found in 2002 by Valentin Monovski (guitars, vocals) and Iavor Pachovski (guitars). The two came up with the idea of making a progressive metal band that will bear the mark of Bulgarian history and culture. Thus, the band was given the name Yuvigi (meaning 'great khan' in Bulgarian).

Shortly after, Panayot Solakov (bass, violin) joined in and the band started composing their first songs. Nevertheless, the constant fluctuation of drummers and singers in the band was a major obstacle. [read more...]
