Artist Detailed Info: Aqsa Alwasat

Aqsa Alwasat (أقصى الوسط) is an experimental music project by the keyboardist and music producer Amr Ezz and Tuqa McAwi, vocalist and song writer.

Aqsa Alwasat was formed in 2013, their music is based on a fusion of different backgrounds and different sounds.

Tuqa and Amr both have their passion for music even before Aqsa Alwasat was formed, Amr is a self-taught musician, he plays music since 2004, he contributed with many bands playing different genres, also Tuqa, She was the former vocalist of a symphonic metal band back in 2009, contributed as a guest with other bands.

With the diversity of their taste of music, Amr and Tuqa took time at first as they were forming the project to decide which genre they should play, but they decided not to be constrained by any genre and play music for the sake of passion.

They released their singles on soundcloud to share with people, as they do what they love and share what they do with people, but the interactions were more than expected back then specially on their track "Enti" which was also the soundtrack of the short movie Daye by Peter Aziz staring Tuqa McAwi
