Formed in early 2009, Chainstoke began their quest for greatness at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Forming a line up which would take the music industry by storm, they started writing their own material, as well as reworking tracks from great bands of the past!

The formation of; Tom Quick on vocals, a Sheffield born rocker with the charisma and confidence of a true frontman...Isabella Budianto on guitar, a young vixen all the way from Singapore with guitar skills like no other...Ollie "Texx" Heath on guitar, a young rebel from East Anglia with a shred hotter than the girls that scream his name...Paul "Lips" Blackman on bass, a metal head from deepest, darkest Norfolk with a tone like the purr of a wounded tiger...and finally Jonny Alexander on drums, a man with fills tighter than an Italian waiters trousers!

This motley crew broke into the local Cambridge Live Music Scene playing 2/3 gigs a month, at places such as The Man On The Moon and The Haymakers, quickly creating a fan base....still going strong they are aiming to hit the rest of the UK HARD in the summer of 2010!
