Artist Detailed Info: Dead Engineer

Dead Engineer is an Electronic/Chip/Storytelling duo from Ohio. Two college students with a not-so-deep understanding of either music or instruments decided one day to start a band, and to tell stories at the same time using what they had with them: a keyboard and two laptops.

Their work-in-progress first album, Columns and Cannons, is the futuristic tale of an ancient machine that is discovered and shipped to another planet. It awakens and its 5000 year old program is rebooted. It does everything that it's five-story-tall body can to get back home and complete its tasks, despite the fear and hostility of the world's inhabitants.
