Artist Detailed Info: Gels

Pomona CA (i.e Hell) spawned this now defunct stoner core trio of country bumpkin brothers with big city aspirations. They moved to San Francisco with dirty dreadlocks and dead flowers on the dashboard two decades after the Summer of Love. By dawn of the 1990's they'd recorded a debut album Quality Time and eeked out a small but faithful following playing old pet hospitals, backrooms, weird warehouses and dank basements along the Haight St corridor. Opening slots for bands like Steelpole Bathtub, Bomb, The Vandals, and MDC couldn't distract them from their twisted love lives, 40 oz's, Metro burgers and Old Gold cigarettes and they dissolved circa 1993 to pursue living out other even more desperate dreams.
