Artist Detailed Info: Malek

Malek is the founder and lead producer for Hitmakers Productions. He started taking piano and violin lessons when he was about 6 and continued until he was 11. However, he hated practicing and did not look forward to lessons. It wasn’t until he started making music on his own that he realized the limitless possibilities music provides a composer, or producer. It all started for him in December of 2000 after his dad purchased a Yamaha keyboard for the family. He found the red ‘Record’ button on the keyboard and never looked back. As he would sell beats he would put that money back into his studio. His first upgrade was a Korg TR-61 keyboard and a M-Audio Firewire recording interface and has continued to upgrade his equipment ever since.

Lately, aside from producing tracks to many independent artists, he has been wanting to produce a production album that highlights his production as well as showcase many up-and-coming artists. "Life In 3D" is the result of his image.
