1) Odradek (Germany):

Odradek is an artist from Luebeck, Germany. He is the founder of the German dark electro band Inscape who had a remarkable success at the beginning of the century. Odradek started as his solo project, literarily inspired by Franz Kafka's strange creature described in the short story "The worries of a householder". Though the concept had a strong literary aspect at first, it developed quickly into other genres. Now Odradek is recognized as a complex art project that covers literary, musical and visual aspects. All his different "signs" circle around the topic of expression and interpretation.

Odradek stands for a new blend of IDM, electronica and industrial. Electronic soundscapes and melodic hooklines develop into soundtrack-like instrumentals complemented by spoken lyrics.

Odradek is a trio from Piracicaba, São Paulo formed by Caio Gaeta (drums), Fabiano Benetton (guitar) and Tomas Gil (bass). It has as influences genres like math-rock / post-rock / punk / progressive / experimental. After traveling promoting their Homunculus trilogy and the split Sun Seeker recorded with the Singapore band Sphaeras, the trio released the new album Pentimento on the Sinewave label.
