Born in Barcelona in 1979, in the heart of a family of guitarists. When he is three years old, he receives his first guitar. The instrument becomes, from that moment, a fundamental part of his life.
When he is fourteen, he starts his musical studies at the Conservatorio Superior de Música del Liceu de Barcelona, with the maestro Manuel Granados, obtaining the title of professor of flamenco guitar with excellent marks. His training is complemented as an accompaniment guitarist of the cante and the baile, acting in different tablaos of Barcelona (Los Tarantos, El Cordobés, El Carmen…). He starts this way his carreer as a concertist.
His experience as a composer leads him to direct the music of several plays like Bodas de Sangre, by Lorca; and Las Troyanas, by Eurípides. He also takes part in the film “Lola vende cá” directed by Llorenç Soler. Paco achieves great success in the stages and televisions of different countries (France, Switzeland, Kuwait…) and accompanying famous artists such as Enrique Iglesias, Azucar Moreno, Monica Molina…
Since 2004, he also takes part in the recording of top-level artists, as well as in the accompaniment of outstanding cante figures such as Montse Cortés, Ginesa Ortega, La Genara, La Chicuela, etc.
He becomes Director of the flamenco department in the music school of Lucena (Córdoba) for five years. In this time, he promotes the flamenco art and instils many people to appreciate music and flamenco guitar.
In 2006, he records his first record produced by Juan José Suárez “Paquete”, two times winner of the Grammy prize for the musical production of Aguadulce (Tomatito) and Picasso en mis ojos (Diego El Cigala).
In his record, Paco counts with the collaboration of remarkable musicians like Carles Benavent, Jorge Pardo, Paquete, Piraña, Yumitus, and cantaores such as Guadiana, Montse Cortés, la Genara, etc. top-level artists all of them.
In his first record, Paco Heredia gives all his talent and knowledge but, above all things, he gives his music; the music that comes from his heart and turns his art into magic.
