Wulfaz is the Proto Nordic word for ‘wolf’, Proto Nordic being the language found on runes stones from c. 150-700 CE, that is the Late Iron Age in Scandinavia. The word 'wulfaz' appears as a part of names like ‘Hariwulfaz’ which means ‘warrior wolf’ or ‘army wolf’.
